TU Darmstadt
“So… are we the guinea pigs now?”
A fair question – when science suddenly turns an entire neighborhood into a real-world laboratory.
Our answer: good communication. (Or, if you insist, a well-insulated tin-foil hat. ;)
With our film for the LOEWE Center emergenCITY and TU Darmstadt, we bring research down from the ivory tower – to eye level.
Or actually: slightly above it.
Because the Heinerbox hangs exactly where it creates knowledge – on the city’s lamp posts.
It measures environmental and traffic data anonymously, listens (but never eavesdrops – promise), and can even send signals in an emergency.
A clever box with a dual purpose:
Research meets urban development.
Data collection meets crisis communication.
Local, open, accessible – right in the heart of Darmstadt.
So no need for tin-foil hats.
A bit of future optimism will do.
VOLLBILD FILM, together with Merkmal, developed the entire concept for the local campaign – from bus awareness spots to cinema advertising.
Starring Hans-Joachim Heist, Dietmar Diamant, and Aurora Demehl.
Science communication that’s fun, memorable – and literally sticks around.
